Did you know that Deep maps breakwaters all over the world? Our latest project took place in the port of Palmeira, Sal Island, Cape Verde. An underwater multibeam sonar survey was carried out to document the underwater rock and accropodes formations of the breakwater. This also included a survey of the realized depth in front of the quay walls and approach routes to measure the final depths. The surveyors also checked if there were no rock boulders or debris on the seabed that could interfere with larger visiting vessels. The bathymetric survey was carried out using a high resolution multibeam echousounder resulting in a full covering inspection survey of the breakwater.[:]
