WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the way in finding and sustaining profitable business opportunities, forming important partnerships, and making our brand more widely known. Your experience in sales and marketing, and good communication skills in English and Dutch, will help us grow and exceed our sales and strategic targets.

 

Your responsibilities and tasks are:

  • Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients, increasing company revenue through identifying profitable business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement long-term business growth strategies, including managing strategic partnerships, existing clients and expanding brand presence.
  • Research emerging trends and recommend new offerings to satisfy customer needs, while analyzing new markets and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Be an active and leading promoter of the company’s culture, reporting directly to the commercial director.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

For this role we are looking for someone with the following skills and competences:

 

  • Proven experience in the geophysical or hydrographical survey industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of how to strategically grow a business’s profitability.
  • BSc or MSc degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
