Job description
Deep is a dynamic & project-driven organization. We use a fleet of small and larger polyester and aluminum vessels for our hydrographic & geophysical projects. Deep is looking for a Fleet Manager who keeps our fleet in top condition.
As a Fleet Manager you are responsible for a (safe) deployable fleet. Your mission is to organize maintenance, repairs and renovations on our boats in such a way that we can depend on optimal deployment on projects at any time. In addition to the maintenance program, you will be responsible for managing and keeping inspections, certificates and safety equipment up-to-date.

The person we are looking for is a self-starter with a hands-on mentality, you are involved, see what needs to be done and make sure that it gets done. You bring structure to a flexible environment, you provide follow-up, monitoring and feedback to the people who have asked for your support. You have strong communication skills and have a high service standard internally and externally with our suppliers and contract partners.
We are looking for someone who has a higher (tertiary) education and has gained relevant work experience in the Maritime Industry. The technical knowledge you bring, helps you being able to talk substantively with various specialists within the maritime world.
Job specification
Deep is looking for someone with the following experience and competencies:
- You have a Bachelor Degree and have gained substantial experience on managing a fleet of vessels;
- Experience with carrying out repairs and dockings;
- Proven project management skills;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language
- Living or wanting to live in the Netherlands
- Being able to work indendently as well as in a team
- Possibly prepared to spend a week at different locations at home and / or abroad
- Willingness to work occasionally on weekends and evenings – on call
- Full-time available (40 hours work week)
