TEAM LEADER PROCESSING
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM LEADER PROCESSING
THE ROLE

As a Team Leader Processing (TLP) you will be responsible for all processing and reporting related aspects within the projects of your project team. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Chief Surveyor within the team.

 

You should be able to collaborate with colleagues as part of a (project) team but also feel comfortable working independently without supervision.

You will act as a point of contact for the client regarding processing and reporting related matters and you will manage and support the team of data processors working on your projects.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • As a TLP you manage and coordinate project reporting and processing tasks to ensure project delivery within timelines;
  • You will be managing and supporting the team(s) of data processors;
  • Liaises with other project management members (Project Manager and Chief Surveyor) to understand project specific deliverables and processing requirements.
  • Communicate with Party Chief and Project Management regarding quality and quantity of processed data. Quality Control of data is an essential part of your role.
  • Liaises with different stakeholders such as the Commercial Department and Clients, but also Surveyors, Client Representatives, etc
  • Act as point of contact for the Client regarding processing and reporting related matters.
  • Ensures the acquired data is according to specifications, well organised and processing is executed according to established (industry) standards.
  • Capable of validating (problematic) data and products and arrange follow up if actions are required.
  • Team leader for team of Data Processors, responsible for performance evaluation and development.
  • Teams up with the other TLP’s to improve:
    • existing processing flows or create new ones.
    • Quality management of processing and reporting
    • Skills of Data Processors through coaching and training co-workers
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Effective communications skills. Being able to ask those questions that will help improve the quality of the end product and the development of colleague Data Processors.
    • Self-motivated and directed, requiring little or no direct guidance from other project team members.
    • Interpersonal skills to interface with the project team as well as the Client.
    • Excellent planning skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Highly organized, with problem resolution and analytical skills.
    • Flexible and available for occasional weekend and evening work.
    • 5+ years of experience in a similar position; preferably in geophysics, surveying and mapping, civil engineering, GIS, or related disciplines.

    JUNIOR DATA PROCESSOR
    HYDROGRAPHY / GEOFYSICS
    THE ROLE

    As a Junior Data Processor Hydrography / Geofysics you will be part of a team that is multi-qualified and covers the complete value chain. You and rest of the team are responsible for a high standard of the delivery of a report to the client. We believe in sharing responsibility with the whole team for the entire project. The part you play is as critical as any of the professionals in your team.

    WHAT DO WE ASK OF YOU?

    The person we are looking for is a self-starter with a hands-on mentality, you are involved, aware what needs to be done and make sure that it gets done. As Data Processor at Deep you translate and present geographical data of the subsea world. You have strong communication skills. Feedback and feedforward are essentials skills as data is processed real-time.

     

    We are looking for someone who has a higher (tertiary) education and preferably has had some work experience in the Maritime Industry.

     

    • You have a bachelor’s degree (preferred Maritime/ Geofysical background)
    • Good listening & report writing skills;
    • Quick (proactive), creative & adaptive thinking;
    • CAD /GIS / Qinsy
    • Good command of the English and Dutch language;
    • Living or wanting to live in the Netherlands;
    • Being able to work independently as well as in a team;
    • Willingness to work occasionally on weekends and evenings – on call;
    • Full-time available (40 hours workweek).
