Project summary
As consequence of a containership fire incident that occurred at the beginning of June, a considerable amount of containers, some containing chemical products and the debris of the burned out casualty are scattered over the seafloor off the coast of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Deep BV was contracted by Resolve Marine Group to assist with the salvage and clean up the aftermath of this marine ecological incident.
Building on the experience gained from the MSC ZOE project, Deep BV applied valuable lessons learned during survey operations.
