Combining our passion with cutting-edge technology, the MBES Boulder Detection Tool employs Deep Learning for analysing Multi-beam Echosounder (MBES) data. It excels in detecting and accurately measuring seabed boulders, setting new standards in data precision.

  • Dimensional Analysis: It provides detailed measurements (height, width, length) of boulders, elevating our capability to categorize and analyse seabed features. 

  • Detailed Mapping: The tool charts precise boulder footprints, offering a comprehensive view of their spatial distribution, a reflection of our commitment to delivering clean, high-quality data. 

In the Baltic Sea's challenging glacial boulder fields, our tool demonstrated its robustness and adaptability. This was showcased in the Ostwind 2 project, processing over 400,000 boulders in no time. Its performance underlines our commitment to innovative solutions for sustainable survey projects.
